Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization is performed with ergonomically designed instruments that detect and treat fascial restrictions, chronic inflammation, or degeneration in the muscle or tissue. The instruments effectively break down restrictions and scar tissue adhesions that may have developed as a result of surgery, immobilization, or repeated injury allowing full functional restoration to occur. The technique is non invasive and uses continuous pressure.
